Public Health Consultation
Dr. Constans is a licensed clinical psychologist who serves as the Associate Chief of Staff for Research at the New Orleans VA Medical Center. He has a 25+ history of researching cognitive, behavioral, and environmental factors associated with emotional disorders.
His more recent research has involved applying behavioral and cognitive science to address public health issues such as preventing homicide and suicide.
To assist the New Orleans community with public health issues that could utilize psychological science, Dr. Constans has founded the Behavioral Science in the Public Interest of New Orleans, a non-profit organization providing consultation and program development on local public health initiatives that may benefit from psychological science.
